_____

A little about us if you are interested. We are a 15 year old non-profit that has served thousands of at-risk youth who were involved in the juvenile justice system. We provide them with job training, art skills, self confidence, the ability to work as a team and give them pride in their communities. Our mission is to empower youth through creation of public art, but our actions go much deeper than that. Recently many cities and states have cut back on the organizations that help rehabilitate youth who are reentering society after getting into trouble — without organizations like us the recidivism rate is much higher. Youth who go through our program are half as likely to re-offend and reenter the court system, which saves our city hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

Our youth created public art that Seattle has enjoyed for 15 years - we’ve created over 400 murals in King County alone! So vote, please! For art! For youth!

Spread the word (post/email/tweet!) and please tell people to contact me if they wish to learn more, I love talking about what we do!

The winner will be announced live at 8am next Wednesday, so get your votes in as soon as you can.

Thanks for your support!
