Seattle’s Premiere Youth Facilitated
Arts Space.
Located
at
619 Western Avenue 2nd floor NE in Pioneer Square,
our gallery displays works by 13-21 year old artists.
This venue offers the unique opportunity for youth to present their
work to the public through a professional art gallery.
Throughout the exhibition process youth learn to prepare the display
area, curate, collaborate, promote the exhibit, write an artist
statement, and develop social skills through opening night
celebrations. Work in the gallery is sold on commission
providing the artist with 60% of sales. The remaining 40% goes
directly to Artworks' youth programs.
I Want to Display My Work!
Portfolios,
originals, or photographs of your work can be presented to the
Outreach Director and the Youth Art Advisory Committee for exhibition
consideration.
You
must be 13-21 years old to exhibit in the gallery.
Currently the gallery is not availble
at this time, please check back at a later date.
Retail ( Sell Your Creations! )
We have a small area in the gallery
that is designated the retail boutique. Here we display and
sell functional wares by local artists. You will find hand
painted purses, baseball hats, t-shirts, and even customized designs
for your shoes. We take any hand crafted items that you create,
such as: beading, knitting, ceramics, woodwork, etc. Show
us what you've got!
