ArtWorks receives support from numerous public and private organizations as well as individual donors and friends. We have built partnerships with several community organizations including the King County Superior Court, the Youth Opportunities program, city government, and special service agencies. Together we work to provide the necessary resources for each youth.
There are several ways in which you can get involved with Artworks:
- Financial Donations Make a donation at levels ranging from Artist to Scholarship Benefactor.
- Product Donations Provide in-kind donations—from paint to pizza.
- Murals Hire us to create a colorful mural for your site.
- Volunteering Provide your expertise or add to your skill base.
- Championing Introduce potential clients and supporters to ArtWorks

Your gift provides continued employment and educational opportunities for young men and women in the Seattle area, and help maintain the studio, gallery, and classroom space in which we run our programs.

The ArtWorks Wish List.
This is a list of items that we are currently need. We use these items every day. They wear out or get used up. Your donation from our wish list allows us to run our programs more efficiently and to engage in more diverse and challenging projects.
Wish List:
• art supplies (watercolor paint, India ink, erasers [gum, kneadable, white], paintbrushes [all shapes & sizes], charcoal, pastels,etc.)
• plywood (1/2” ACX 4'x8')
• paper towels
• toilet paper
• paper/plastic cups
• masking tape
• butcher paper
• quart containers
• garbage cans with lids (step-down, flip-top, or push door) size?
• pizza, juice, Krispy Kremes, etc how about healthy options?
• frames/mats
Donation Guidelines
1. Please make certain that donation items are in good, working condition
2. ArtWorks CANNOT accept the following items:
- Oil based paints and stains, including oil-based enamels, alkyds, wood stains, varnish and spray paint. These hazardous paints are unsafe for use in youth-created mural projects.
- Computer Monitors- Old computer monitors are expensive to recycle and actually create a financial burden for our organization.
GET INVOLVED / VOLUNTEERING
Provide your expertise or add to your skill base.
There are several ways to get involved, ranging from serving on the Board of Directors, to assisting with one of our programs, to administrative duties. We are always looking for fun, energetic and creative people to help us with our mural projects.

GET INVOLVED / CONTRACTING
We have been receiving an overwhelming number of requests for murals in and around the city. We would like to put together a pool of artists who are interested in contracting with ArtWorks to design and complete this multitude of mural work. Please tell us more about yourself.

Introduce potential supporters to our program.
One of the best ways you can assist us is to help get the word out about our programs and what we do. Invite your friends, family, co-workers, etc. to join us for our events, suggest our programs to parents and kids.
